Your first stop is the Hoover Dam to marvel at its sheer size and grab a photo before you "get your kicks" as you journey to the birthplace of Historic Route 66. There's a brief stop in Williams - the home of the of the famous Grand Canyon Railway - and then you come to the fabulous Grand Canyon.

Take in a bird's eye view on an optional helicopter ride, stroll along the rim, take a hike into the one of the deepest and most diverse canyons on earth, or simply relax in one the rim cafes and admire the magnificent view. Your tour leader will find a secret ledge on the rim for a once-in-a-lifetime sunset over the Grand Canyon away from the crowds! Enjoy your evening in the small town of Tusayan at one of the local restaurants or cozy bars, or relax around a campfire. There are many options for the following day. You'll have the opportunity to rise early and see the sun rise over the canyon - just as breathtaking as the sunset the evening before. You may enjoy a longer half day or full day hike in to the Canyon or along the rim, or take an optional included tour to Desert View along the East rim of this incredible National Park. Enjoy rangers' programs and endless photo opportunities before the tour heads back to Las Vegas, where you will arrive approximately 9:00 pm.

Camping Information:

Never camped before? Don’t worry! This tour takes care of pretty much everything - supplying all necessary camping equipment, including a sleeping bag. It's called "comfort camping" or "glamping." The spacious 4-person tents are easy to put up and take down, and experienced tour leaders are there to help you every step of the way. Sharing a tent with a fellow trekker of the same sex will leave you with plenty of extra room!

This tour promotes the philosophy of "take only photographs and memories, and leave only footsteps." Please respect the environment by sticking to existing trails, disposing of trash appropriately and recycling wherever possible.

What to Pack:

Be prepared for both warm and cold temperatures. Generally speaking, you can enjoy warm days but nights can sometimes get quite cool. It's a good idea to pack a warm pair of socks, woolly sweater or hooded jacket, hats, gloves, rain jacket, hiking shoes, warm coat and, of course, your favorite fancy Las Vegas outfit!

Other items to consider for camping are warm sleep wear, a torch and a decent battery operated alarm clock.

Single Travelers:

Traveling solo? This tour has a no single person supplement policy. So, if you are traveling solo, you can relax knowing that you will not be charged a penalty for a single-person booking; and since you will be traveling with like minded individuals who share your passion for adventure, you will be sure to have new friends and memories to last a lifetime.

Single travelers will be paired in accommodations with persons of the same gender.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change policy

If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
