Get ready to test drive three of the hottest muscle cars in America and challenge yourself in this unique experience!
You'll get the chance to test American iron from "the big three" in 4 challenge modules: Acceleration, Braking, Cornering, and Top Speed.
The modules are designed to show the specific characteristics of the Ford Shelby GT 500, Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Push these vehicles - and your skills - to the limit as you drive around a real test track environment while coaches guide you to maximize your performance and safety.
Following the completion of all four modules, you will receive computerized performance comparisons from video and data acquisition systems. Decide for yourself which car reigns supreme!
This program takes place on a test track environment at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Approximately 90 minutes
9:00 am, 12:30 pm or 3:30 pm on selected dates
(Pickups occur approximately 75 minutes before tour time)
Please check Availability Calendar for specific dates & times
The Challenge Modules:
Acceleration: Instruments will capture exactly how quickly you can get each car from a standing start to 60 mph.
Braking Efficiency: You will be measured on the exact distance it takes to go from 60mph to a complete stop.
Cornering Capability: Digital data collection will be used to determine the lateral G force generated in a closed section.
Top Speed: How fast can you go over a set distance?
Each segment has props designed to measure performance and enhance the experience. They include an F1-style starting line...radar displays showing your speed in mph...digital time displays to show elapsed time...a braking module light trigger...braking distance markers...and module identifiers. You'll get a "practice run" on the test track in each car, so you can get familiar with the layout of the individual cars. Then, the next three runs – one in each car – are the ones that count.
Paperwork - 30 minutes before the schedule experience, participants need to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled driving time to complete their liability waiver and participant information (medical) forms.
Registration and Check-in (5 Minutes ) - Check-in and meet your driving coaches.
