The Hoover Dam and Lake Mead Tour takes you to locations overlooking Lake Mead, the world's largest man-made lake, and to the eastern edge of the chasm in Arizona where you have fascinating views of Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. You also have the opportunity to tour the inside of the Hoover Dam Visitor Center.

Located just outside of Las Vegas, in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, the Hoover Dam is the highest structure of its kind in the world. It is an outstanding achievement, noteworthy not only for its enormous dimensions, complex design and intricate construction, but also for it's illustration of man's outstanding ability to overcome the desert's summer sun, the vagaries of a treacherous river, and the extreme hazards of great heights on the chasm's sheer walls.

Summary:

Tour includes free hotel pick-up and drop-off from designated hotels. Child rate applies to children under the age of 12; children under 22 pounds may ride in an adult's lap for free. Limit of one child discount per adult. Please reserve online or call us toll-free at 888-888-7501. There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

This tour takes you to locations overlooking Lake Mead, the world's largest man-made lake, and to the eastern edge of the chasm in Arizona where you have fascinating views of the dam and Lake Mead. You also have the opportunity to tour the inside of the visitor center. We then travel, on the Arizona side, over an incredibly scenic 4 x 4 road to a location called Rainbow Canyon, an incredible and colorful experience. This canyon is the watering route for Big Horn Sheep and Wild Burros where they follow the wash to a beautiful hidden beach on Lake Mead.

This tour requires some walking. Combination of paved and off-road travel.
